works / DESIGN
You can call me a Copywriter / Psychological / Playing Designer I am used to it. As in my art, my design objects are meant to make you stop and think, feel something. They are human & human oriented.
They are simple yet they carry a story, an idea, a word-play, a game, a gimmick, an experience...
This was the case with the Bookcase-ShELF which deals , through structure, with ideas such as open frame, mutual support, opposites makes equilibrium, stability and solidity with dynamic and moving qualities. Another example is the idea of the tea candle holder which forms a Star of David and when lit multiplies
and enlarges the light infinitely. The lights and shadows make it look like a vivid Mandela to meditate to.

Magen David (star of David) / 2008
The idea of the tea candle holder is to make the lights and shades look like a vivid meditative Mandala.
The assembly of the star of David helps to multiply and extend the lights infinitely, thus empowering the relations between the three elements that construct the it. The work is forming the fire which
mediates & combines.
Bookcase sHelf - self (ShELF) / August 2008
This work was exhibited at the TLV Artists House. The bookcase is made of four identical right angled trapezoids. By putting them through one another I was able to create a stable structure, where each part supports the next one, which supports the next one, and so on. This ongoing flow of trapezoids, put in opposite directions, creates an illusion of a walking bookcase.
